camper driver 0 Posted February 11, 2009 the stub axle has snapped on the front ns CV joint. Ive got the drive shaft removed from the hub assembly but cant get the cv joint off the end of the drive shaft. Ive been beeting it with a hammer and chisel but it wont budge!!!!! davidwort 0 Posted February 11, 2009 sounds like something is majorly bent, the CV joint should just tap off the end of the shaft with a knock from behind when held straight, it's only a spring clip holding it in place. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
