Critical_Mass 10 Posted February 25, 2009 Hi all, How much do a set of 4 VR Speedline alloys go for these days? Probably going to have a set FS soon! :D 2 need new tyres the other 2 will need changing v soon ish. The general condition of the alloys arent too bad as i sanded back the paint and resprayed (as 2 were bubbling), which hasnt done a bad job. But on the fronts the brake dust has firmly attached itself onto the wheels so they do look rougher then they are. These could do with a professional refurb to get them looking back how they should look - i will try get some pics up :D What kind of price range do these go for? I know probably not much but they have to be worth a little something.
Supercharged 2 Posted February 25, 2009 £120 - £150... Sets of 4 straight ones are becoming rare these days!
The_Dude 0 Posted February 25, 2009 I wouldn't bother getting them refurbed, I reckon the money you spend on it you won't get back. Better to sell them for 50-100 and let the new owner deal with it.
Critical_Mass 10 Posted February 25, 2009 Does £120 seem reasonable? (+ P&P)
BILLCOR 1 Posted February 26, 2009 They look to be in pretty good condition, so yes £120 is reasonable
