Clifford alarm location???

Recommended Posts

hey,

Does any one have any clues on where they install clifford alarm boxes?

im guessing its under the dash somewhere.

just brought a vr6  however no paper work for the clifford alarm, im guessing its a concept 300 but iv only got 1 key fob so i need to get another 1 attached and i dont know the code. so i need to find out what type it is.

i traced the wires through the bulk head from the siren, 1 wires disappears up the back of the dash and doesnt come out the other side ????

other comes down to sensors and into a small black box under the heater unit in the dash. being new to the corrados im not sure if this is standard equipment of for the alarm. havn't got my self a manual either as yet.

il try posting a picture to explain abit more clearly. any help appreciated

cheers casual

The small box is the tilt sensor. It activates the alarm when the car is jacked up. It is usually installed between the hand brake and gear lever. The big box looks like the control unit for the alarm. There should be a sticker/label on it with info about the alarm. I have the cliffnet pro cd at home. If there is a copy of a Clifford user manual on it I'll pm it to you. There are instructions in the manual on programming a new fob.

Paddy.
