Toad 0 Posted March 14, 2009 If it's noisey, it's probably tired. Tried changing the filter yet? There are actually 2 pumps on the 16v, an in tank lift pump, and the main pump under the floor of the car. If the lift pump fails it can put the main pump under more stress making it noisier.
