Formula 1 Pit Lane Blondes Game (New Schedule on Page 3)

Recommended Posts

An excellent race and a superb result. :salute:

Let's hope some of the enthusiasm and optimism generated rubs off on the UK economy. :D

Pity about the Brawn GP redundancies, but perhaps RB will be helping with the severance packages. I guess timing-wise it was the best of a bad job. :(

BOOOOOOOM

Thread resurrection!

Im living with a pretty big F1 fan now, so we're taking up this game for the coming season.

Have any changes/improvements been made? We're planning on substituting Fosters for something that doesnt taste like liquid cardboard

switch fosters for Victoria Bitter or VB (and rightly fits as it's actually brewed in Oz where 1. fosters isn't and 2. where the grand prix takes place! and 3. can be bought in Tesco.

if not, theres crown lager which you can find in walkabout :D

Forget a bout Leffe, its nice but try one of the non mainstream Abbey beers. The Trappists are v nice beers.... one of which is 10 % and knocks your head off, but tastes sooo nice!

If strengh is a concern why not "Sink the Bismark"? It's only about 42%, brewed in Scotland and is currently the strongest beer in the world. Best English ale I've tried is Old Essex Ale, brewed in Lewes.

Can't afford to try it, it's only available online at £40 for a 330ml bottle, and I stand corrected, it's only 41%. News report below.

You might recall Scottish brewer Brewdog laying claim to the title of “World’s Strongest Beer” with their Tactical Nuclear Penguin brand and its 32% . Well the German brewer who had the previous record, Schorshbraue’s 31% beer, weren’t going to take that lying down (that comes after the drinking).

They struck back with a 39.44% beer, still under their name of Schorshbraue, to take back the record.

You can tell what’s coming next from the casks of the Fraserburgh based company. Yes, it’s a 41% beer called… Sink the Bismark. With a name straight out of the Daily Mail’s “How to appeal to people who remember the war” the Battleship Busting Beer is available online in a 330ml bottle for the pricely sum of £40, which is the price of a fine bottle of spirits.

That’s by design, says Brewdog’s MD James Watt, “Beer has a terrible reputation in Britain, it’s ignorant to assume that a beer can’t be enjoyed responsibly like a nice dram or a glass of fine wine. A beer like Sink the Bismarck should be enjoyed in spirit sized measure.”

You can find the beer online at Brewdog, and if the Germans are persistent, then expect to see a 43% beer in the near future called “We Love HMS Hood”.
