djmac56 0 Posted March 24, 2009 wow - some amzing work there. What's the story though? What's the reason for all the new work? Your original paintwork etc had seemed fine! Or are the dates wrong?!!

SerialDUB 0 Posted March 30, 2009 wow - some amzing work there. What's the story though? What's the reason for all the new work? Your original paintwork etc had seemed fine! Or are the dates wrong?!! Thanks m8 :D The paint was dodgy in a few places and i'd had some bad luck with some equally dodgy garages and bodyshops. So decided i'd have a go at doing a 'proper' job myself. 95% of the work i've done myself so far, bear in mind that i've only had minimal experience (home!) until last july, when i started helping out at my friend's garage and it kind of snowballed from there. I seriously underestimated how long this and difficult this would be. Oh well! In for a penny in for a pound.... been following this on demon, looks like alot of time and money has gone into it mate, top work! It's not as expensive as it looks, but it does take hours of hard graft....... :gag: :gag: Bit more progress.......
Emkayvr6 0 Posted March 30, 2009 8) Good work, Good on ya for doin it yourself :salute: , like u said its time more than expense, thats why its cost so much to get someone else to do it. I'm a yacht fairer by trade so can appriecate the time and effort its takes to fill, sand and spray. Hopin to do a full strip down, resto and mods myself at some point. Keep the updates comin mart
