Parcel shelf straps (solution found)

One of my parcel shelf straps has snapped :help: Did I read these are now obsolete?

 

If so where can I get hold of one (or two) or has anybody researched a good upgrade maybe with the cord design straps used on some other cars. Tried the search but can't find what i'm looking for Thanks :salute:

Golf mk2, mk3, Jetta, Vento Part number 1H6 863 447 but are shorter about 3 cm so need a pair.

Simple but effective solution to the breaking and now obsolete parcel shelf straps is this upgrade from the MKV Golf GTI Circa £4 each and readily available.

Also they snap but are readily available too like he said.

 

Does this mean my minty mint parcel shelf with unsnapped straps is now worth more than before.

 

And you only lose points if they notice them.
