vr6 speedo cluster

i brought some lockwood dials for my vr6,easy fit it said should take no longer than 30mins :bad-words:

 

well in my anger i managed to rip the speedo needle and rev counter needle off,neadless to say they no longer work :(

 

anyway can this be fixed or do i need to buy a new cluster??? :cuckoo:

What do you mean by 'managed to rip off' ? Depends what damage you've done I guess - could just be that you need some new needles but if you've mangled the whole thing, it reduces your options a bit! Any pics?

lost my temper and just pulled them off.

 

the speedo had a very fine spring which uncoiled itself an snapped, :epicfail:

the rev counter still sits on the spline but does not move.

 

i am guessing i need a new cluster in reality.and i think i will let the pros fit the dials. :ignore:
