coullstar 0 Posted May 15, 2009 Ok my car failed MOT today on emissions which I kind of expected seeing as it has a decat. I have a CAT to fit however there is no lambda in the decat as the frst one is further up the downpipe. Im going to fit a CAT to the car but I will need to blank of the hole for he 2nd lambda. Does anyone know the thread or where to get blanks? I thought Jetex did them but cannot find them. Will fitting an old probe that is disconnected be ok? FYI the levels were Fast idle CO% 5.11 (limit 0.30) HC ppm 320 (limit 200) CO @ idle was 4.03 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
The_Dude 0 Posted May 15, 2009 All the ones I have seen are just a big old bolt. Seems a a very cheap solution to me! :clap: I don't see why putting an old lambda probe on shouldn't hurt if its not hooked up as it will plug the hole perfectly. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
