Stryker 0 Posted June 14, 2009 Hey guys, quick question, if one of your full beams is not working does it cause a MOT Failure? cheers
boost monkey 0 Posted June 14, 2009 think so. I know the internet is a daunting place, but try this: http://www.ukmot.com/mot_check.asp#information7
Critical_Mass 10 Posted June 14, 2009 eh, sure i've just responded to this... Its definately a MOT failure. Mine failed for this last month turned out to be the relays on my wiring loom. Do you have an uprated headlight wiring loom? Daft question - have you checke the bulb?
Stryker 0 Posted June 14, 2009 Changed the bulb and the fuse, still no joy, not really good with electrical stuff, any ideas?
boost monkey 0 Posted June 14, 2009 sounds like wiring. get some pics up of the back of your headlights. we should be able to tell whether it's got an uprated loom or not.
Stryker 0 Posted June 14, 2009 ok just had a play around and switched the headlights around to see if the passenger side one would work plugged into the drivers side socket and it worked fine so there must be something wrong with the headlight itself
Critical_Mass 10 Posted June 14, 2009 Take the round covers off the back of the headlight and check the connections inside for each bulb.
shaung60 0 Posted June 17, 2009 I have the standard headlight loom if you do need a replacement.
