Fabricated Radiator

Recommended Posts

Hi to one and all

Does any one know where to get a fabricated Rad for a VR6 ? Or has anybody run one, or has anybody got an old rad they can size up for me as I may be able to get one made at work, if I past on a few beers to a very nice fabby. As all VR6 owners know, they tend to run a bit warm, and a Ali Rad have better cooling and flow rates. Or am I just wasting my time and should shut up and do something else instead. I also have the water cut fan mounting brackets for a 11" & 9" that I will be fitting to the rad.

Any help would be usefull

hey there pal - google allisport (or something like that); they can make absolutely anything you want (at a price!)

also i do have a standard, not leaking but battered rad you're welcome to. i's fairly new actually, it has just been a bit battered through various mechanical exploits with m own car. it should still do for ages i would have thought.

it's not an oem item, bt it's pretty much identical i size from what i remember...

yours for £40 collected if you want it...

edit - and ally does cool more efficiently than copper/steel or whatever they use in other rads, but it's more expensive and more delicate

they do look nice - that's strange about the company name though - godspeed is also the name of a brakes company set up by a guy called ian godney who takes stock brakes and improves them..
