I've just taken my car in to get it measured up for my new intercooler and he said that last G60 he saw had a bar underneath that went to the block? Am I missing something? And is it important? Henny 0 Posted July 3, 2009 yes, there should be a support bar, and yes, it is quite important... Without it you could be de-forming your charger casing which could mean that the scroll touches the inside of the casing damaging both... :eek: Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Henny 0 Posted July 3, 2009 It goes between the bottom bolt on the charger and the block... it's about 3/4" thick round bar...
