Engine conversion 1.8t into a vr6 advice needed

hi. i am looking to fit a 1.8t with the standard 02j golf gearbox into a vr6 corrado there is alot of talk about subframe/engine mounts need modified?? has anyone done this conversion any info appreciated. thanks

Wow, theres not very many people who would take their vr6 engines out for a 20vt? You got big plans for the car?

looking for around 400 horses 6 speed box with lsd porsche brembo calipers but standard looking car no body downgrades

i reckon your be better off selling the vr and buying a 16v the engine mounts line up. also you could sell a vr for around 2500 buy a 16v for 1200 and you have a good start on the cost for around 400hp your need as much as you can lay your hands on

i have been offered 2 vr6 with engine problems hence choice i know the 4 cylinder models would be a simple option mount wise
