RDH 0 Posted July 11, 2009 Had a few hours spare today so tried to sort the last few (current) remaining problems with My Corrado. Since I bought the car the spoiler has never worked automatically (well it did once randomly), have replaced the module and checked fuses etc. The blue and white wire to the HU loom has been cut but had been joined to a black wire which disappears behind the clocks..... decided to trace this and it goes to what appears to be an after market cruise control unit. Have tried unplugging the CC unit.... still does not work, tried cutting the blue and white wire...nothing. My knowledge of wiring is limited, however the blue and white wire is permanently live (14.5v according to multi meter) is this right? Think it is probably time to give in and look for an auto electrician (head unit wiring is also a mess), but thought I would see if anyone had any ideas first.
