injectors can only push so much before the spray becomes a jet. also you just cant up the pressure. 3.5 bar reg is towards the limit on the stock fueling system

Also the standard fuel pump runs at its maximum on the 3.5bar fpr. The 4 bar would push the 8v pump too far. To run a 4bar fpr reliably you'll need to uprate the pump to a 16v one.

 

nonsense, I ran my VR on an 8v pump with no problems and that has a 4 bar FPR.
