richardg60 0 Posted July 26, 2009 hi everyone, just brought a G60 great car, on tick over the engine makes a squealing noise from the throttle body. I have noticed that the boost return pipe has been removed and left to vent to atmosphere and on the back of the tb there has been a short pipe with a small k+n filter fitted to the pipe on the back of the tb, the air rushing through the tb is causing this noise, the car has been fitted with a twin inlet on the charger hence why the return has been removed any ideas on stopping this noise guys, any advice would be wonderful many thanks folks rich. k1r4n 0 Posted July 27, 2009 i know the pipe your on about and i'll check tomorrow but pretty sure i put a bolt in that pipe and tied it off. i think it was for the lines attach to the carbon canister under the original air box. have you still got your CO pot?
