stevef 0 Posted January 8, 2004 My VR6 has a Selca FM6 alarm fitted. It has decided that you need to push the arm button twice in order for it to stay on without going off after about 30 seconds. If you push the arm button once it locks the doors etc but then gives two beeps ie beepbeep, beepbeep for about 30 seconds then goes off. If you press the arm button a second time the doors stay locked, no beeps are emitted and the armed LED comes on. Anybody know these alarms, have a manual or know a man who can? h100vw 0 Posted January 9, 2004 Steve, Selca alarms were imported by GT Alarms. Before they stopped trading. I have fitted some in the past. My mate may have the instructions. Their technical helpline number is 01926 435986. However, you say that pressing the button a second time stops it going off. Some alarms isolate the ultrasonics when you do that. I suspect that it could be the ultrasonics setting off the alarm. Get back to me if have no joy and I'll see what else I can find out for you. I live in Warrington which isn't too far if you need another alarm. Gavin
stevef 0 Posted January 9, 2004 Thanks for the help with this. The helpline say that it is the ultrasonics that need to be adjusted. Just need to find the box with the adjuster on it now! Cheers
