Supercharged 2 Posted April 26, 2014 (edited) Goodridge hoses with stainless ends - I actually fitted these with the calipers a couple of weeks ago... The Stainless ends are a must IMO and worth paying the extra for - the 4 year old ones I took off the car were corroded worse that 10-12 year old VAG ones. Goodridge should really make these standard like on the Bike kits they do. Just to show how good these look nearly 5 years on - still like new :-) Edited April 26, 2014 by Supercharged
clumpy1 11 Posted April 26, 2014 Just to show how good these look nearly 5 years on - still like new :-) Can't go wrong with Goodridge's (I just wish I had got the advice before I bought from S******* well at least other's have been saved from being made a mug of) Pedal feel with them is immense :thumbleft:
Supercharged 2 Posted March 2, 2016 (edited) So nearly 100k miles later and the discs have started to judder and the 3rd set of pads have about 3mm left... I have some brand new discs but need to get them drilled - has anybody done this or got a link to anyone selling any? VW price for these is now 86.50+Vat each!! (I paid £29 from TPS!) I'll email Badger5 where I got the originals from I think but I know they were a 'one-off' Interestingly the discs are multi-fit so come with 9 holes - I think 2 are re-used with a brass bush (M14 to M12) so only 2 new holes needed per disc.
