RaddoMan 0 Posted September 1, 2009 I phoned vw and they said there is 2 sizes for the defroster clable , so i got both it looks like a push pull action on that dial. 575 mm? and a shorter one , sound right ? on order from the mother land :D I hope it all works after fitting my box that fits the flaps in seams fine , not sure about the cog will look in to that at fitting time. and i might have a fucked defroster dail (see pic)so i got a 2nd hand one of them , it looks better than mine , no lights in mine makes it hard to see it in the dark , and i will make it work on all 4 fan settings. Critical_Mass 10 Posted September 9, 2009 Well it might, seen as one is 10cm shorter then the other. I've recently fitted the one that attaches underneath the dash - if it was 10cm shorter it may not have quite reached. I suppose you'll find out.
