MaverickG60 0 Posted September 10, 2009 Hi guys, I'm sure this has been talked about many times; My spoiler doesn't work when driving and if i try and use the manual override switch that doesn't either. Any ideas why? The car has had a aftermarket head unit fitted by previous owner and from a little research that can be the culprit? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Fanjita 1 Posted September 12, 2009 Sounds like its less likely to be any speed sender cable, and more likely to be the spoiler control unit or even worse the spoiler itself. I'd give those 2 a look first before anything else, spoiler motor could have burned out, or fuse gone too. Jim

mariojoshi 1 Posted September 14, 2009 Do remember the basics, such as wiring at the spoiler and the fuses,(as Jim said) just in case. No point taking it all apart to find that it was just a silly blade fuse! If you needs parts to replace, switch/module/mech/motor, let me know as I have spares kicking about of all of these at present so just drop me a message. (this wasn't meant as a pure advert guys!) Fanjita 1 Posted September 16, 2009 Pete, If it turns out the spoiler control module is at fault, I have a spare working one, just let me know if you require it and I will get you a price. Jim
