Fanjita 1 Posted September 12, 2009 Hi all, Was just wondering if anyone had any experience or information on refurbishing the Monte Carlos available on Mk4 Golfs as a factory option. I have them fitted to my C and they're looking a bit sorry for themselves, could do with a rub down and some new lacquer I guess? The reason I haven't just gone out and tackled them like this is they're painted in two different colours, and also the lacquered area seems to be almost like a striped aluminium effect. Appears to have lots of tiny grooves under the surface, i dont think it's the 'brushed aluminium effect but it might be.
