Clocks Resetting

Anyone have any idea why my clock / trip computer etc resets itself every now and again, it happens when i turn the ignition on before i turn the starter motor..??? All the functions work correctly it's just annoying having to correct the clock.. :help:

Maybe a dodgy fuse / cconnection - worth re-seating or replacing it

I have this problem, Just live with it now although I suspect it might be a relay sticking or something :scratch:

I've noticed when mine resets it does so at the same time as a relay click. To be honest I havent looked into it, but suppose I'll get round to it :D

I always had this problem before i changed my battery... i think a low charge on the battery makes the some relays stick when you turn the key. It always happened if i hadn't driven the car for a few days. Have a look at the amps coming of the battery to see if you need a new 1

The battery is only about 2mths old, I was wondering if it has somthing to do with the starter motor, when the engine is hot the starter motor seizes/slows up. i have another one to put on but not had time yet.?

hmm, dunno. if its on its last legs maybe its needing more ampage to get it to turn over?? :shrug:
