alternator question *moderate urgency*

Hi folks,

 

Hoping for a quick answer to this,

 

Does anyone know if I can fit an abf alternater ro a kr16v?

 

I just purchased my 2nd rado today (its a nugget :D ) and it cut out on the way home :( the seller had had battery issues, but as it actually cut out during driving I'm presuming there's a charging issue.

 

I have an alternater from a 2.0 16v mk3 engine and I just wondered if anyone knew if it would fit my 16v rado. I want this nugget running! Woop woop!

not unless you convert to the whole ABF serpentine belt system and associated pulleys

Spotted the v belt and ribbed belt difference when I looke at my abf one!
