query on a part number for bosch lambda sensor

i bought a bosch lambda sensor from gsf, they gave me one with the part number 0258 003 439 - 760, i questioned if it was the correct one for my car as i was told i needed part number 0258 003 267 and they said bosch had condensed their range, and the new part number was the correct one for my car. It seems strange that the old part number doesnt fall in the bracket of the new part number, they have said i can take the part back if im not happy, as i can get one with the original part number elsewere, i dont want to go to fit it and find its the wrong one, or it only last a few months as its not specificly for my car, has anyone tried this bosch part on their car?

If so has it lasted or failed after a couple of months?
