remix 0 Posted October 19, 2009 wasnt to sure where to stick this,basically wondering on average the price people make on selling a standard corrado in parts.had an offer that if i can shift my corrado soon il be getting return tickets to asia so i can afford to travel.wondering if im better breaking or just holding out for a sale. ryan_16v 0 Posted October 19, 2009 The problem is that someone ruined the original paint by spraying it matt black, if it was the original colour it would probably worth the £800 you were asking for it, as it stands £400 is about right at a push. The bottom really has dropped out of the market it seems and even Corrados are suffering (not as much as some though thankfully). £400 is just taking the p*ss though.... ANY car with a decent MOT and tax is worth near on £400 quid and out of a shiteheap of an old ford Escort or a VW Corrado I know which is more desireable... I paid £700 for mine last year with a recent MOT (and only a few rust spots on the bottom of the drivers door) and loads of history and receipts. He'd already knocked it down from £1300 to £1000 and then took my offer as he still couldn't sell it. Im hoping to sell my rado for a newer car, but im wondering whether breaking it will fetch more money. Once ive removed my after market parts i'll basically have a valver with 130k on the clock, rust spots and knackered paintwork. Knowing the garage that did it, I'd say it was sprayed straight over the top. :wink: They cut so many corners they end up going round in a circle!
