Cam followers

Hello everyone. Quick question. I think they are called cam followers. I've had them out of the head for a while and all the oil has drained out of them. Can they be put back in like normal and they will work fine or if there a way of refilling them before I put them back in? Or is it just a case if having to buy a new set?

the bentley bible lists the following

 

for the engine code PG

cam follower

lubricate contact surface

do not interchange

check camshaft axial play before installing

install with contact surface down

Immerse them overnight in fresh oil, the same way they sit in the engine as this allows them to draw oil in. I actually left my new ones for a few days and I got next to no tapping when it was fired up.
