lockdown 0 Posted October 20, 2009 Hello everyone. Quick question. I think they are called cam followers. I've had them out of the head for a while and all the oil has drained out of them. Can they be put back in like normal and they will work fine or if there a way of refilling them before I put them back in? Or is it just a case if having to buy a new set? Thanks guys

VR6Joni 0 Posted October 20, 2009 Immerse them overnight in fresh oil, the same way they sit in the engine as this allows them to draw oil in. I actually left my new ones for a few days and I got next to no tapping when it was fired up.
