dancorrado 0 Posted October 25, 2009 where do you start..... ive got a 2 litre 16v corrado and the rear spoiler has just stopped working as well as the car overheating all the time, so does anyone have any ideas for either?? and sugest any aftermarket parts to replace existing cooling parts???? :confused4: Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
DanVW 0 Posted October 25, 2009 Have you chaanged the stat, flushed and changed the coolent and replaced the fan switch? Usualy a good idea right after buying a Watercooled VW, my first GTI blew a HG 2 months after a got it due to a jammed shut stat :( As for the spolier its probably the fuse, happened to me too but I also stripped out the spoiler motor and gave it a clean and refurb as they get very gunked up after 15 years or so.
