G Charged 0 Posted November 9, 2009 Ok, the wires that run down the drivers side have been subject to excessive heat on one of my corrados.. i thought it was due to the dodgey alarm buuut.. What looks like a solid red wire has totaly melted and has melted the insulation on the other wires to kinda clump together... Does anyone know what this wire is for? or if anyone has a list of what these wires are for, it would be greatly appriciated I have a spare loom to go in, but it seems like this isnt the cause and i would like to trace the car and work out what its for, and therefore the reason its generated soo much heat. any heads up on this situation will be appriciated

shaung60 0 Posted November 9, 2009 Wires down the drivers side. I think that's the loom for the leccy windows. And also the loom to the fuel pump and up the C pillar and into the hatch?
