culshaw 1 Posted November 18, 2009 Brief history: Got my first in moonlight blue back in july/august can't remember now but after some cash strapped times i'm back on the build again, I let the MOT run out after an expensive looking fix list and have left it on my drive till i've been able to gather the part. Made myself a build list i hope to get before the summer, let me know if it's over optimistic! culshaw 1 Posted December 1, 2009 the reason for new calipers always tighten wheel bolts. had to get dragged onto aa truck, good job i didn't have a splitter otherwise that would have been bye byes! no damage to sump or wishbone so the garage said! new hub and bearing done! DId this about 4 months ago but just found the shameful pictures :pukeright:

culshaw 1 Posted December 10, 2009 was hoping to get the rear brake assembly off but having a fight with the brake line and the brake line nut, is this a 10.5 as 11 gets a grip but spins under a fair bit of pressure!
culshaw 1 Posted December 28, 2009 got all the rears done and am just awaiting a brake line for the drivers side and my brakes will be done :D theres about 4 cm clearance between my calipers and the wheel lol
aide 0 Posted December 28, 2009 the age old caliper seize scenario eh, had to get rescued due to that myself, good to see someone else putting their folding ladder to good use; mines used as a bench with some plywood worktop :D liking the manifold too, looks a lot like one i had :)

culshaw 1 Posted January 18, 2010 brakes bled and clutch pedal is no longer stuck to the floor!! handbrake wasn't working before and turns out (as i thought) that it was because the fluid reservoirs were empty, so thats another problem checked off me list :D:D:D
culshaw 1 Posted January 19, 2010 got intake manifolds off and still got a sheared bolt on the rocker cover, thought i'd fucked the injectors when i was yanking them out but they're ok in the end... enough talk..
