I'm interested in this too.

Think you need the late ignition cowling to house the larger hazard switch.

Why do you need the fog assembly?

The late fog light assembly incorporates a fog lamp in a black plastic surround that also holds the indicator, thus.....

basically the early fogs don't which is why you need late fogs for the late indicators.

IMHO they look much nicer, they sit virtually flush rather than recessed in, best appreciated once the financial pain subsides    8)

Oh there's also a rubber piece at the rear of the light bay that needs removing but it can be punched out or trimmed with a knife, it's very obvious!!

I'm not fully understanding this. :confused4:

The early C's have the fog switch on the dash. If you fit late indicators does the fog switch just stop working?

I've got the stalks and am hoping to fit once I get a late ignition cowling but will have to scrap that idea if my fogs won't work. Not prepared to shell out on new ones.

We're talking about lights assemblies not switches.

You can fit late light/wiper stalks without changing the fog/indicator light assemblies, the dash switch will still work the fog lights!!!

If you want the late interior hazard switch you'll need the late steering cowling yes.
