Throttle bodies

Afternoon,

 

Have just recieved a throttle body, but it has came of a late valver, i have an early valver(Ithink, mines a K reg 92), and theres no micro-switches on the unit, but the is a module thing underneath.

 

Would this work on the early type(If mine is the early type) :roll:

did vw do a 16v auto, if do they throttle bodies differ from manual to auto.

Early valvers are 1.8s mate so your 2.0 is late.

Ok, so whats the difference between

Can't really help you there - all I can say is they both look different to my early 1990 1.8 valver throttle body.

Don't know about the Auto thingie but I guess it is a possibility, someone will know!

ok, they are completely different :scratch: , mine is a 9a tho, im thinking the 2nd picture is a newer version of the micro-switched from the 1st pic, could be wrong tho.
