Critical_Mass 10 Posted December 22, 2009 Hi all, A quick question. 3 out of 5 times my stereo will reset itself when i turn the ignition on. It doesnt happen everytime, only some of the time. I've checked for loose wires. The permenant live is connected correctly - as i say it only happens some times. I sent the headunit back and they say they've tested the headunit and cannot find any faults, they say it sounds like a problem with my car wiring. I had a headunit in just before and it worked fine, didnt reset at all. What could cause this, i was thinking a fault with the ignition switch but this was changed for a genuine unit about a year ago and it is showing no other signs of it being faulty.
