undulattice 0 Posted January 17, 2010 Just replaced the heater matrix and figured I'd swap the blower motor for a new one - old one making the usual squeaks/grumbling sounds. Came to swap it over when I had the heater boxes/tubing out and found that the new blower didn't have a connection to fit the 5 pin connector (see pic in thread below) just two wires with spade connectors. viewtopic.php?f=19&t=42731&p=497731&hilit=blower+motor+connector#p497731 Have I been sold the wrong one or is there some way of wiring up the new motor to the existing connector? If so, what are the three other wires doing :confused4:
Toad 0 Posted January 17, 2010 You need to swap the resistor pack from the old motor onto the new one. It's attached to the metal plate on the bottom of the motor, and the 2 spades connect to it.
