volksworld13 0 Posted February 2, 2010 hi just wondering if anyone has and helpful tips or websites where i can find some good quality suede or material i can redo my roof lining, i bored of the grey dirty linning thats currently in there, i was going to remove the lining and retrim the roof lining and sunroof slider in black suede or some good quality material, and dye the inner seal surround for the sunroof, any help appreciated. :D Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
leon263 0 Posted February 2, 2010 Go onto E-Bay and type 'alcantara' into the search box and take your pick. Alcantara is a very realistic suede substitute and is available in lots of different colours. Going rate is about £20 a metre and is is usually around 54 inches wide. Reasonable easy to work with and normally fixed with automotive spray glue. Very nice finish as long as you don't get any wrinkles.
