deanjames 0 Posted February 3, 2010 has anyone ever taken the door trims off, totally painted them then reput them on? is this a hard job do they bend or anything Reason for asking is that i am thinking of taking them of and cc them, went to one garage and said they would have to mask the whole car and spray then which is going to cost a bit of ££, so was looking to remove them Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

CazzaVR 0 Posted February 5, 2010 Pretty easy to take off- just take your time- other wise you'll pull paint off with them! :shock: Get them really warm with a hairdryer- start at one end. Have plenty of hot, soapy water to squeeze behind the trim when it starts to come away. Done this on a couple of my Corrados and they've all come off perfectly.
