endor71 0 Posted March 12, 2003 Batteries keep dying in my Corrado. I run a fairly decent sized stereo system in my car. Could the problem be an alternator charging problem? What ampage is a standard alternator on a G60? Should I get a 90 amp one from GSF? or is there bigger?
Jim 2 Posted March 12, 2003 What kind of battery do you have fitted on your C? After a load of problems in the winter with my cheapo battery dying, I invested in a 56AH (I think) Bosch Silver from GSF (http://www.gsfcarparts.com) and it never let me down in the time I had it. 146 Jockey 0 Posted March 12, 2003 endor71, Don't know if this will help, but I had a problem with my battery running flat all the time. Tried everything from reconditioning the alternator checking boot light etc. In the end I found it to be the Central locking. I had an alarm put in by a 'friend of a friend' and what ever he did f!£$%d up the electrics. Hope this helps.
