A5 VRX 0 Posted March 18, 2010 Just had the VR up on the ramps and the drivers side inner driveshaft boot is knackered, do i need a new driveshaft (got a little play in it) or just the boot? Either way where can i get one? Exchange basis only? Garage quoted me about 130 +VAT, Cheers Adam
volksworld13 0 Posted March 19, 2010 the boot shouldnt be very expensive, to do it, the driveshafts need s taking out, drop the lower ball joint off the hub, the driveshaft nut off, and remove shaft. then the boot can be replaced, more labour than any thing.
