V-Dubstar 0 Posted April 19, 2010 Right, Im getting together some bits for a good service, and have a query about the part number system on ETKA and chassis numbers. Mine is 50-RK-004-644. For instance for handbrake cables, there are 2 options: >>50-S-000-361 50-S-000-362>> I take it mine is before 'S' then, but why do I have a 'K' after my 'R'? Should I assume that ALL bits will be correct aslong as I stick to the chassis number system for mechanical parts??

V-Dubstar 0 Posted April 19, 2010 Ok, thanks. So is it plausible to buy all needed parts under this assumption that everything will be correct?
V-Dubstar 0 Posted April 19, 2010 Lol, just rang up my local stealers, who said the handbrake cable has been dropped from VW?!
