Where do these plugs go?

Recommended Posts

Well after getting the dash back in, and stupidly not labelling everything, I've got a couple of plugs knocking around

Any ideas?

The two in the first pic look like they might be something to do with the heater dials

can you confirm all colours for me and there location where it looks like they go. Have you plugged everything back in and all working? I changed my dash recently and havent put all back together yet so can still see most of my wiring. Finally is iv late or early?

The brown one looks like the one for the stereo. I'll have a look in wiring schematic in the back of my Bentley manual if I get a chance this evening.

Thanks guys! Here goes-

Black 2-pin plug:

yellow/black

brown

Brown 8-pin plug:

brown/black

red/green

brown/white

red

brown/blue

blue

brown/red

green/blue

Part number (tiny!): 357 035 447A

I thought it may be the stereo. Mine has quite a bit of aftermarket stereo gubbins inc speakers, so the original loom may be redundant.

Cheers :)

the brown plug is the harness for the speakers.

and the other two seem to be connections to put into the speakers. id presume for the speakers in the top of the dash. have a butchers at the ones in your parcel shel supports for comparison.

but you never know as you say, it has been dicked around with. (i hate the gimp who messed with my motor)

Brilliant! You're all stars :notworthy: Nothing to worry about then, as they all have aftermarket wiring 8)
