Scented 0 Posted May 4, 2010 My loved corrado has died on me. And I am what you could call an retard when it comes to cars. I have absolute no clue about anything, but i have madskills on the internet! So I am asking for some online help that might assist me on my car-fixing adventure. The last thing that happed before it stopped starting was that the car-alarm went off and i couldnt make it stop. So i just pulled off the battery underneath the hood. And since that day it wont start no matter what i do. My guess is that the car-alarm is blocking the car from starting, do you agree guys? When i turn the key it tries to start, and i smell fuel when i pop the hood. But it stops there. Anyone have any ideas?
Jim 2 Posted May 4, 2010 Welcome to the forum. Does sound very much like an alarm / immobiliser problem. What year and model is your Corrado?
Scented 0 Posted May 4, 2010 The car is a 1992 model as far as i believe. How is that relevant to the alarm issue? By the way, that's the same theory i have. Just have no idea how to fix it.
