Blinker stays on after turning...

So my blink stays on after I complete a turn, left side only. It has something to do with the mechanism in the turn signal switch but not sure exactly what... anyone know?

I'd imagine it's wear on the re-centering part of the lever, had a similar problem on the wiper arm.

You might be able to repair it, I did on the other arm, by filing a bit of the plastic so it doesn't make contact on one of the metal tabs that complete the circuits. Tell tale sign is if the arm is a bit 'floppy' in the centred position.

Thanks. I'll double check all that but the arm isn't floppy at all when it's centered.

I've got a similar prob with mine. Reckon it's the little white plastic part with the 3 little springs that doesn't work properly anymore. There's a bit sticking out on the back of the steering wheel that flicks it off when enough lock has been reached.
