A5 VRX 0 Posted June 2, 2010 How do you remove the inner lock barrel (ignition one) from the lock barrel itself, as when i get one i'll need to match it to my key. Had a good look but really stumped how it comes out! There is a little pin at the bottom, this have anything to do with it? Thanks Adam

Thanks Adam there is this on te Wiki http://wiki.the-corrado.net/ignition_ba ... ement.html dunno... i was looking at that the other day with a pal and we came to the conclusion it was a hell of allot of work... id be tempted to throw away your old key and use the new one that comes with the barrel and re-tumble the locks to match the new key... like this http://wiki.the-corrado.net/re_tumbing_locks.html

Speed reading again. :( I wouldn't bother, I guess if its not obvious then mayhap some things are best left untouched. Get a new one and match the other locks as Alex said.
