Supercharged 2 Posted June 3, 2010 Have you tried the old sensor again?? Was the new one genuine? Also check the wiring to the plug and inside the plug
G60 NUBE 0 Posted June 3, 2010 Yea I have tried the original one and still no luck this all started when I replaced the black sensor with a non gen one, this made the overheating warning light flash and the gauge go up to full. I then realized it was no use for my corrado and shelled out £26.00 For a gen one from vw which hasn't solved the problem as the gauge now does nothing. Do u think I have burnt out something? G60 NUBE 0 Posted June 7, 2010 I have been reading on this forum and found that there is a bar in behind the temp gauge that becomes unlinked so I am going to try that and see what happens thanx for your help. Rob
Supercharged 2 Posted June 8, 2010 Ah ok - yeah I sounds feasable that that non-genuine sender has maybe knocked the needle off the spindle...
G60 NUBE 0 Posted June 9, 2010 Turned out it was exactly that. Pretty handy for future reference. Sweet thanx everyone
