coullstar 0 Posted June 22, 2010 Looking to maybe fit one of the short round silencer boxes (in link) to my exhaust to take the edge of the noise as its quite loud at low rpms at the moment. http://www.jetex.co.uk/website/custo...s&dia=3.0+inch Is this likely to make a difference or should I be looking at the longer one? Its currently 3in bore with single rear silencer and no cat. Plan is to get a high flow cat in there at some point as well which will also help take the edge of it. KADVR6 0 Posted June 22, 2010 its a vr6 turbo, so let it shout :) have a word with a local custom exhaust manufaturer and ask them about fitting a resonated silencer somewhere along the system, that would help i would have thought, and loads cheaper than a sports cat.
