Jim Bowen 1 Posted July 1, 2010 My corrado came with aircon fitted from new, but when i bought it the last owner said it probably needs a regas. I never used the aircon and so its just sat as is for 3-4yrs now. I was at local garage yesterday talking about it and they said they could regas it but after all that time they reckon it will be buggered as the seals will of perished etc.

You will probably struggle to undo all the unions now due to age without breaking something, in my experience the Corrado system is pretty damn good at holding its charge so you might just get away with it, if its got a big leak the vacuum test will show it up. If its got a small leak then theyre more difficult to find, ask if the air con place has a 'sniffer', they should put leak detect dye in as a matter of course too..
