DANG60 0 Posted September 2, 2010 Dont know if this is in the right section as its about brakes. You may have seen my other thread about my dilema over brakes, well i have decided to refurb my brembos. Im having them soda blasted at the moment and then i am going to have them powder coated. I would like to laquer over them once i have fitted new brembo stickers. Is there a laquer that would be suitable to laquer over the top of them? P.S just found some on the frost restoration website but its 50 quid :gag:
davidwort 0 Posted September 2, 2010 halfords used to do high temp engine lacquer in various colours, less thean a tenner a small tin, but plenty to do a pair of calipers here you go: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165495

VR6 0 Posted September 3, 2010 Without a doubt, this is the stuff you want: VHT Clear http://www.wilcodirect.co.uk/index.php? ... ts_id=1950 Evo's chomp through calipers and this is pretty much the only stuff recommended week in, week out.
