Mate, as i said i dont know sizes of tyres and as different people put different sizes on then their will be more than one view, i asked for them. I could go and buy the ones i have now but i want a bit of streatch and dont want to do it too much so the old size wont do, hence me asking.

195/50/15's - V rated tyres are usually enough assuming they're going on a standard 16v Corrado.

I want the wee bit of streatch for stance, will help me bring my wheels closer to y arches with less rubbage and tyre abuse. Also so my rim pokes out the edge of them (Looks sexual)

Bit sad but you only get your car nice with a bit of efort so... thought you lot would be the best to ask as you pretty much know the ins and outs of corrados with your eyes shut.

Thanks.

Is 195/50/15's the size which is suposed to fit on that wheel origionaly or is that a bit of streatch, sorry as i dont know what the 195 is or the 50 im pretty wounded. aha im sorry.

Its a steep learning curve.

fair enough if you're struggling, but with all due respect, have you actually made some effort to start on the steep learning curve yet? maybe i was a little quick in my first reply but from your post this time it just doesnt seem like you've actually tried to find anything out on your own yet, which is kind of what i was suggesting might have been a plan before.

anyway, to make up for being unfair, I'll happily show you the FAQ page of the number one result for "tyres" on Google - Blackcircles. They give you a handy explanation of what the numbers mean:

http://www.blackcircles.com/general/sidewall

secondly, if you want to change the size of your tyres, you might want to have a search around for cars with wheels your size that have stretched tyres. "vw estorils stretch" might give you something like this: http://www.wheel-whores.com/forum/viewt ... 19#p167731

if you wanted to see what sizes you could go for without throwing your speedo out then you could compare them on a site like this: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalcold.html ("tyre size calculator" found that one)

then if you'd come up with what you think you'd like to go for then you might post up to see what others thought about your plans (ie. maybe 185/50/15 or 175/50/15?) and I'm sure people would be happy to comment. ultimately though only you know how much stretch you want and you need to see it for your own eyes first, people commenting will just be telling you what they like, which will be different for everyone. but having read what the numbers mean for yourself by that stage will obviously help you judge your preference.

hope that helps answer all your questions.
