Andy665 0 Posted September 8, 2010 Dropped off a set of Hartge wheels to someone in Bucks yesterday, when he opened the gates to his garden I was gobsmacked, cars everywhere and all his: 2x E30 M3's Mercedes 190 2.5-16 BMW 850i Various Alpina's Maserati Shamal ec etc All in various states of repair, lovely bloke who said that he could never not buy anything interesting that was offered to him - wish I'd had my camera with me

corozin 0 Posted September 8, 2010 Sounds like it was a case of 'back to the 90s' and no bad thing in that. Since he has 2x E30s he should upgrade one of them with an E46 M3 engine. I understand it's all the fashion in E30 circles these days. There's a guy down here who has had two of them done (one is purely a track car). I like the idea of 'various Alpinas'. He needs to add an Ur-Quattro to the collection I think :D

wy906 0 Posted September 8, 2010 E30 M3 Mercedes 190 2.5-16 Both are my teenage kicks. I'd love to have the 2.5-16 as my next car, but I fear it may be too vintage for me to drive it like a c*nt all the time. I don't have a garage so no M3 for me. Don't think an all-time great deserves to be parked on-street.
