mattg2 0 Posted September 25, 2010 Hey this is my first post I am here on ramstein ab, germany and I just purchased a 94' volkswagen corrado (euro-spec). I saw the car for sale and looked it up I am new to volkswagens in general but I have worked on hondas and kawasaki bikes so I am sure i can pick this up pretty quick. The car itself has several cosmetic flaws I was looking for some advice on or cheaper alternatives from older volkswagens or maybe if I can get some parts from a golf of that year. If anyone can give me some guidance on fixing these things it would be a seriously awesome help. 1. There are no keys - it needs a new ignition & door locks 2. There is no power steering - I have replaced the fluid something else is wrong. 3. The headlights don't work, but when I turn on the hazards they all work. Should I buy new parts how hard are these things to fix etc.?? :help: appreciated Thankyou - Matt
Wild-Animal 0 Posted September 28, 2010 It could be your pump thats not working for your power steering, so make sure its working i suppose you will be able to tell if you see the fluid moving in the reseroir Your headlights, not sure you could try start easyily with fuses , if not alot of people put uprated wiring systems into the cars to get better headlight power so be sure to check the wiring around the headlights, no doggy connections. There is a light that come s on on the headlight switch itself a small LED so make sure it comes on when the switch is pressed, this should tell you your switch is working! The relays are on the back of the headlight switch incase you go looking
