damaged "cat"???

hi there

a few weeks ago my coilpack went bust on the motorway, i drove home with the car chucking loads of unburnt fuel in the exhaust system, now its all been fixed for weeks but its has trouble starting cold, it will fire straight away, back fire in the cat and then die... after that i start it again and runs fine,.

 

no oil consumption, no black smoke. just the backfire in the cat on the first cold key turn.

 

any ideas?
